Forward Planning Committee
This Committee was constituted to consider all
options for the immediate, middle and long term
development of the village and after consultation with
all relevant parties will recommend to the Parish
Council as Wickham Development Strategy to cover the
period up to 2026.
The Committee was also overseeing the revision of the
Village Design Statement to meet the needs of the new
LDF planning system; monitoring the progress of
Winchester City Council and Fareham Borough Council's
LDF processes and in particular the plans for a
Strategic Development Area to the north of Fareham which
meets Wickham's southern boundary.
